Barta or Burter (バータ Bāta) is the tallest and fastest member of the five members of the Ginyu Commando. It is nicknamed the blue hurricane. He forms a powerful duo with Jeice, notably performing combined attacks, including the most famous, the purple comet: the "Purple Comet Hurricane".

BARTA APPEARANCE
Barta measures more than two meters and is thus the tallest member of the Special Forces. He is a blue-skinned mutant with small spots on his body. He has red eyes and no pupils.
He has a black jumpsuit and a variation of the classic armor from Frieza 's forces. Like his peers, he has the Ginyu Commando mark on one of his shoulder pads.
Barta also has a green colored power detector . 🤔
PERSONALITY
Barta is particularly proud of his supernatural speed . He nicknamed himself the Blue Hurricane after proclaiming himself the fastest warrior in the universe . He is however aware that Frieza is much more powerful and faster than him but he continues to boast of his title despite everything. This perfectly demonstrates the mutant's arrogance as he continues to praise his speed despite his master's superiority. 💫
If Barta seems to show a certain complicity with Jeice , he does not seem to care about the fate of Guldo . Once the latter is killed by Vegeta , he is only disturbed by the fact that the Ginyu Commando's poses will be ruined with one less member. Once Recoome is defeated by Goku, Barta is then disturbed by the Saiyan's speed and begins to question his abilities. ✨
As previously explained, he has a strong friendship with Jeice and the two warriors are used to training together and combining their attacks during fights. Barta also appears to be the leader and strategist of the Special Forces during Ginyu's absences. This is particularly demonstrated when Barta hatches a plan with Jeice in an attempt to gain the upper hand over Son Goku. He advises his partner to use his charged ball to distract the Saiyan and then attack him from the back. 💥
Like all the other members of the Ginyu Commando, Barta is quite a comical character who enjoys performing combat poses and playing the game of Rock Paper Scissors in an attempt to choose their next opponents. The stakes are usually chocolate bars or candies.
BIOGRAPHY OF BARTA
Barta inherited his special powers from birth, like all other members of the Ginyu Commando . He was then able to develop them throughout childhood. At home he was used to doing all the household chores as well as shopping. His mother was very strict and would slap Barta if he had the misfortune of being late for dinner. However, it is thanks to all these regular back and forth trips that Barta was able to develop his speed to finally become one of the fastest beings in the universe. 🪐
Thanks to this fabulous skill, Barta was able to pass the membership tests with flying colors and was able to join the Special Forces. It was from this moment that it proclaimed itself " Blue Hurricane " or " Azure Typhoon " in some versions. From now on, he will boast of his superior abilities and display extreme arrogance , convinced that he is the number one speed warrior in the universe. 🥇
He demonstrates the power of the abilities when he manages to instantly recover a Namekian Dragon Ball that had been sent away by Vegeta .
We learn in certain adaptations that Barta had used his legendary speed to kill hundreds of Saiyans. Captain Ginyu would also have said that Barta was at one time a baseball champion.
BARTA IN THE FREEZER SAGA
Following the death of the majority of Frieza's soldiers, the Galactic Emperor decides to summon Special Forces as reinforcements. They are also ordered to bring back new power detectors . The Ginyu Commando once on Namek, ordered to bring back the Dragon Balls and kill Vegeta. The group then manages to quickly reach the prince of the Saiyans who was in the company of Krillin and Gohan, all three busy gathering the crystal balls. 🐲
Vegeta, who does not want to have the precious artifacts stolen, decides to send a Dragon Ball to the horizon but Barta then demonstrates his prodigious speed by intercepting the ball with supernatural speed.
Once the Dragon Balls are stolen, Ginyu decides to bring them back to Frieza by entrusting his men with killing Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan. Barta then plays Pierre Papiser Ciseau to see who will kill who but quickly loses the game. The blue mutant is thus forced to observe the fight with Jeice while Guldo and Recoome advance towards their opponents. 👊
It is only once Recoome is defeated by Son Goku that Barta decides to participate in the fight with his partner. The blue mutant is disturbed by the ease Goku showed in knocking out Recoome but decides to attack all the same. He then attacks the Saiyan with Jeice using numerous combined attacks and energy balls but without success. Barta then realizes with amazement that his own speed, unmatched until now , is ridiculous compared to that of Son Goku. The two elite warriors then very distinctly show signs of fear. 😱
The fight resumes but the mutants' attacks are still ineffective against the Saiyan. Barta then decides to communicate remotely with his partner using his detector . He then comes up with a plan to take over Son Goku .
Jeice is supposed to use his famous attack, the Crusher Ball in order to distract the Saiyan so that Barta can have an opening.
The plan completely fails, Goku effortlessly deflects the Crusher Ball with a simple movement of his hand. Barta is then knocked out with two paralyzing blows from the Saiyan. 🤜🤜
Son Goku then decides to give the survivors of the Special Forces a chance to leave the planet but Vegeta then decides to finish off the mutants on the ground . Barta is thus killed with a powerful knee to the neck by the prince of the Saiyans. The blue mutant then dies instantly following this fatal attack . Seized with panic and fear, Jeice then leaves the battlefield to join Captain Ginyu.
Much later after the death of all the members of the Special Forces, Barta, Jeice, Recoome and Guldo go together to Master Kaio 's planet. Ginyu is not present because he is still alive. The four warriors thus find Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Chaozu and Piccolo and decide to attack them. Barta and Jeice fight as a duo again using the purple comet attack against Tenshinhan but are unsuccessful. The members of the Special Forces, completely powerless, are then defeated once again and are sent to the depths of Hell. 😅
SAGA OF THE OTHER WORLD AND BUU
Barta makes a new appearance in the Underworld with Frieza, King Cold, Cell , and the other members of the Ginyu Commando. The group of villains is then busy looking for a way to escape from Hell when Son Goku appears. On Frieza's orders, the Special Forces attack. We can thus see that the blue mutant has gained power because Goku is forced to increase his power. Barta, however, is effortlessly defeated and his peers suffer the same fate. The blue mutant then crashes into the bloody pond of Hell. Later, after Frieza, King Cold and Cell are defeated, Paikuhan uses his tornado attack and Barta and the others go and impale themselves on a mountain of spikes. The group of villains are then once again locked in one of the cells of the Underworld. 💀
In the saga of Majin Buu, we can once again see Barta in the Underworld with his peers. The group watches the fight between Son Goku and Buu using a giant crystal ball.
DRAGON BALL GT AND BROLY MOVIE
We can see Barta again in Dragon Ball GT when he escapes from the Underworld with many other villains. He is once again quickly defeated and locked in a cell. 👎
In the Broly movie, Barta makes an appearance with the rest of the Ginyu Commando on the planet of the Saiyans. The Special Forces are indeed alongside Frieza and King Cold when the latter order King Vegeta to subjugate the Saiyan people.

ANECDOTES ABOUT THE CHARACTER
The Japanese name for Barta or Burter, Bāta, is derived from the rearranged word Butter. Like all the other members of the Ginyu Commando, his name is a play on words for a dairy product. In Barta's case, it's butter. 🧈
Its power level is between 30,000 and 60,000 units. According to Krillin, Barta is roughly on par with Recoome and Jeice. The blue mutant then continues training even after his death. Despite a certain gain in power , he will never again be able to compete with a member of the Z Team.
In some video games, if you give him maximum power, he is the character capable of doing the longest combo.
Barta's death is quite similar to Nappa 's . He is defeated in the same way and Son Goku offers to leave the planet before being finished off by Vegeta. 💀
Barta is the first character in the saga universe to proclaim himself as the fastest being in the universe. Even though his speed is superior to Ginyu's, Barta is completely outclassed by Son Goku.
